For over 60 years, System Design has delivered specialist public address, induction loop and acoustic sound solutions for some of Britain's most demanding spaces — from intimate chapels to grand cathedrals, concert halls and live event venues across the UK and Europe.
Over six decades we’ve been trusted with some of the most demanding acoustic spaces in the UK and beyond.
Royal Festival Hall · Hayward Gallery · Sizewell B Simulation Building · Lord Rayleigh’s Dairy (then Europe’s largest milk processing plant) · 2010 Papal Visit to England · Brompton Oratory · Numerous cathedrals and abbeys · English‑speaking parishes in Germany and Switzerland · Wales and the Channel Islands.
Every system is bespoke, designed for your space and your people.
How It Works
A clear, five‑step process from first contact to long‑term support.
1. Get in touch
Call or email with your venue address, type of location, and what you need: repair, upgrade or advice.
2. On‑site meeting & survey
Peter will arrange a visit to your venue. Understanding the acoustic environment firsthand is essential — no two spaces are the same.
3. Full binding quotation
You receive a full binding quotation, so you know exactly what you will pay and what will be delivered.
4. Installation with minimal disruption
We work carefully to keep any existing system operational throughout the installation. Your space continues to function while we work.
5. Handover & ongoing support
On completion, you'll be fully briefed on how to operate the system — though in most cases, there's nothing to operate. 90% of our systems are fully automatic. We remain available for support and maintenance long after installation.
